What I Stand For

I am a passionate and dedicated member of this community, and serving on Jamestown City Council again is an opportunity to continue my work towards building a brighter future for our city. My motivation to run for council stems from my deep commitment to public safety, transparent government, economic growth, healthy neighborhoods and community-based solutions.

• Public safety is a top priority. Everyone in our city should feel safe and secure in their homes, businesses and public spaces. As a city council member, I will work towards community-based solutions for public safety, including supporting collaboration between residents, organizations, crisis intervention teams and law enforcement agencies to create a safer Jamestown for our families.

• Transparency in government is essential to building trust between elected officials and the community. I believe in open communication and accountability, and I will work to ensure that our city government operates in a transparent and inclusive manner. I will also work to promote public engagement and participation in decision-making processes.

• Democratizing economic growth is essential to the success of our city. We can only achieve economic prosperity through inclusivity, equity and broad participation in shaping economic policies and opportunities. Sustainable economic development cannot be achieved through top-down policies but through actively engaging communities, individuals and diverse stakeholders. By empowering people to have a say in economic matters, democratized economic development can create a more just and resilient economy that serves the needs and aspirations of everyone.

• Healthy neighborhoods are the foundation of a thriving community. Our neighborhoods should be safe, clean and welcoming places for families to live and grow. I will work to support programs that promote community togetherness and quality housing.

• I believe in community-based solutions that prioritize the needs of our residents. As a city council member, I will work to ensure that our community is involved in decision-making processes and that your voices are heard.

I am committed to serving our community and working towards a better future for Jamestown. My experience, dedication, and data-driven approaches to policy make me the strongest candidate for the Jamestown City Council, Ward 6, and I look forward to the opportunity to serve our community again.
